    For nearly two decades, VINEX® fabrics have been successfully incorporated into protective apparel programs in companies in the Aluminum industry throughout the world.  Composed of 85% inherently flame resistant vinyl and 15% polynosic rayon, VINEX® fabrics exhibit a unique ability to shed molten metal and protect against potentially dangerous molten splashes.  VINEX® fabrics also come in a variety of different weights to combat the varying levels of molten hazards that are found in different Aluminum factories.

Some of the characteristics of VINEX® fabrics include:

* Exclusively used in the Aluminum casting industry.

* Inherently flame resistant blend of fibers composed of vinyl alcohol units with acetyl cross links.

* Can shed molten Aluminum.

* Highly resistant to a wide variety of common acids and alkalis.
